The whole southern side of Eden Rock is a mountain on the Pacific Coast that is 280 meters in height. The owners made the purchase in 1999 so that they could protect the home of an endangered species of Titi monkeys. The Costanera Coastal Road runs parallel to Eden Rock for a distance of one kilometer. The majority of the mountain is covered by a dense rainforest that is home to a wide variety of animals. A natural step that spans 6 hectares may be found above sea level. On this portion of the land that has been cleared, the home will be built. Because of its small inclination, it is feasible to construct a whole settlement on it without obstructing the views of the ocean from any of the homes in the community. The view takes in the Pacific Ocean with Cano Island visible on the horizon, Drake Bay, and the Osa Peninsula. The Rio Terraba can be seen winding its way towards you via the protected mangrove forest that is located there. Eden Rock is home to its own own virgin rainforest, which is home to two springs that serve as our primary water source. There are locations that are sufficiently level to support construction both within the forest and on top of the mountain, as well as all along the route.
This house is made of poured concrete and has a huge kitchen, two bathrooms, five bedrooms, and a living area that has plenty of space.
The property on the other side of the road, which provides access to the river, is now up for sale.
You may cross the river in a boat to go to the remote beaches that are scattered throughout the string of islands, or you can go two kilometers to the west and access the Pacific Ocean.
To get to the Palmar Sur airport through another route, you might trek through the mangroves.
Ojochal, with its well-known restaurants and French-speaking population, is located about 4 kilometers to the west. Construction has begun on a new town center that will include the Citrus Restaurant, as well as a dentist, doctor, and gourmet food shops. 15 kilometers to the west is where you’ll find Ballena National Marine Park. Two kilometers separate the entrance to Eden Rock from the Coronado Village, which has a few stores and a medical facility. The distance to the airport in Palmar Sur is 20 kilometers, while the hospital in Cortez is 15 kilometers distant. About 8 kilometers separate you from the San Buenaventura Golf Course.
A constant sea breeze bathes this mountain. It would be perfect for a center of wellbeing.
We have kept the entire property completely organic. The owners have been protecting the mountain for 22 years.
Some pointers.
On a personal note, this is the ideal time for someone who can afford it to improve his image by creating such a research station, maybe in combination with a large University. The house sits on a 6-hectare step in the mountain, there is ample space to create student housing and classrooms. There are buildings across the road from Eden Rock. One of them is a very well-built concrete building perfect for laboratories. A hilltop restaurant which would make an amazing open-air auditorium.
