The lodge is just are just a few kilometers from the center of Ciudad Quesada, in the community of La Abundancia. Although Ciudad Quesada is not a tourist city, it has extremely friendly people who welcome travelers. The true attraction of this city is its fresh, clean air and its beautiful mountains. There are hot springs available in the area where you can enjoy a spa experience that perfectly complements the city’s accommodation offerings, including luxury spas and resorts. It is also accessible by air, both privately and commercially.

The city is close to many of the most popular places to see volcanoes. The Juan Castro Blanco National Park is an excellent place for birdwatching and has three volcanoes on site. Peacocks, hawks, black guans, and quetzals abound throughout the 35,000-acre park. The park is also home to many species of monkeys, goats, armadillos, frogs, snakes, and lizards. It is also an archaeological site with many historical discoveries from the past.

The famous and popular Arenal Volcano is also located in the province of San Carlos. It has been dormant since 2010, but it was one of the 10 most active volcanoes in the world. My opinion of this mountain lodge, the lodge needs some work but has a great potential to be converted in a highly potential revenue center. Great hub and location. The rooms and the hotel have to be renovated and re positioned in the market place especially with the travel agencies and wholesalers. At this current moment the hotel is about break even. Marketing plan and revenue management has to be established. ADR over the year around $80 with 50% occupancy according the owners. National market with 80% GAM and International market the resting 20%. Capital expenditures necessary .

Reasonable priced with great potential at $1.800.000
